"Silver or gold I do not have," Peter says to the cripple who is begging at the gates of the temple. Likely, it wasn't what this beggar wanted to hear, and yet, it's an awesome declaration that upends our understanding of what we have and don't have, be it money, riches, or any number of things. In the end, Peter and John extend a hand and a word to this cripple, inviting him and empowering him to walk and experience a transformed life.
