Classes
At Joyland, we believe in small classes. We have classes of 5-10 kids and one teacher for every 5 kids. Click on the picture below to learn more about each class level.

Class Time
- Start the morning with tasty snacks and welcome time.
- Story-telling with lessons that incorporate Biblical values.
- Memorize Bible verses.
- Singing fun praise songs complete with dancing and motions.
Fun Time
- Creating crafts and watching puppet shows or other feature presentations designed to reinforce basic classroom discipline.
Class Time
- Discuss lessons learned from the Bible, memorize Bible verses, and learn to share with and help each other.
- Crafts: Mother's Day Card, Father's Day gift.
- Learning Activities, including coloring and other crafts, memory games, simple board games, and Play-Doh!
Outings
Oakland Zoo, Fairyland, Children's Discovery Museum, and more!
Class Time
- Learn how to apply Bible lessons directly to real life and how to properly relate to God and others.
- Memorize Bible verses.
- Develop characters of honesty, diligence, and generosity.
- Make crafts to reinforce lessons.
- Make cards for Mother's Day, and Father's Day.
- Participate in activities such as creative drama, team bonding games, and more!
Fun Time
- Outings to Chabot Space Center, San Jose Tech Museum, Fairyland, and more!
- Sleepover at teachers' houses and exciting activities such as soup making and pillow fights!
Class Time
- Learn how to become followers of Christ through more in-depth Bible lessons and how to love, respect, and honor God and others.
- Develop characters of integrity, self-control, kindness, and generosity.
- Make crafts for Mother's Day and Father's Day.
- Read biographies of spiritual heroes such as Jim Elliot and Mother Teresa.
- We have serious reflections, too!
Fun Time
- Outings to San Jose Tech Museum, USS Hornet, and more!
- Sleep over at teachers' house, and participate in activities such as soup-making, pottery-making, pillow fights, games, and more!
- Play sports.
In each class, everyone feels right at home as we learn about God, make new friends, bond with our teachers, and do fun and exciting activities together!
